Too much sugar, too many wrinkles.

Sugar, intended as a carbohydrate, it is definitely an essential source for life. images Carbohydrates, however, when too many are becoming obsolete and harmful to health.

I do not speak of the risk of gaining weight, of contracting diabetes, have high blood pressure, an heart attack, or metabolic syndrome.

I would instead talk about how carbohydrates can be the cause of wrinkles,  an inelastic and asphyxiated skin.

Throughout your life you have started, the day with the classic milk and coffee, or sweetened bakery products, corn flakes, which at the moment seem to give you a lot of energy, but that in the middle of the morning make you feel tired and weak, so you need to reinforcement, with a coffee and sugar, some chocolate, to recharge you.

It’s time of lunch and you add some carbohydrate, you have the idea that a sandwich, a plate of pasta, a light drik will help you to start again. In the afternoon, maybe you can skip the snack, but then at dinner, according to how your day was, you start to eat, even if you try to remain light.

This lifestyle brings you to be a person who needs sugar every day, in your blood sugar and insulin act as a flame thrower that burns and hardens the whole body and it is reflected on your skin.

When your glycemia tends to rise, it produces a phenomenon, called glycated hemoglobin, in a few words, sugar attaches to red blood cells hardering and alters their functions. The same phenomenon occurs on the elastic fibers and collagen, which are present in your skin.

You made a very soft cake and cover with chocolate frosting, the crust is very nice but has hardened your cake.

You have bought a nice and tender steak and throw it on the grill, here you will have a pleasing effect to your taste but the gold surface will hardened proteins.

The solution?

Try to eat carbohydrates with low glycemic index, that meens,to avoid those foods that after you have taken they tend to quickly raise your blood sugar.

Avoid anything that comes from white flour, rice, sweets, sugar, yellow potatoes, do you prefer, wholemeal products, which reduce insulin secretion, are digested more slowly even leaving hunger pangs.

Replace snacks with fruit  or vegetable centrifuged , or as a smoothie.

Uses stevia to sweeten.
